Puka’s class is wonderful! Every week, I looked forward to visiting her studio. The studio is a very comfortable environment, with great music playing and everything you need to succeed at creating lovely pottery. Puka is an excellent instructor. Before taking her class I could barely throw a small cylinder. After completing the beginner course I can now confidently throw 8inch cylinders as well as many other forms. I am excited for where my pottery journey will take me and I am incredibly grateful for Puka’s guidance. 10/10

This was my first time trying ceramics and throwing. I was very nervous to give it a try but Puka relieved all my anxieties very quickly. She is such a kind and thoughtful teacher. Taking so much care in making sure you (the student) not only understands but is having a fun time. I couldn’t believe I made 2 cups and a bowl in my first class. She was so patient, sat with me and guided me the whole way. As the weeks have progressed I have been able to branch out on my own but Puka is always there when I need help. I am looking forward to many more classes with Puka. Highly Recommend!!
